This cage is perfect for my dwarf hamsters. Putting the cage toigether was easy with the only difficulty in putting the top exercise ball together. I bought them a small house as a nesting space at the bottom and in the lookout tower so they haven't been nesting in the ball. There maybe a few stray peices of food in there which I dump into the trash every couple of days. Spot cleaning once a week makes cleanup easy when it needs it. The ball on top sqeaked a little when I first got it, but a little vedgtable oil fixed that and I haven't had a problem with it since. I have yet to have any escapes despite the added attention from my two cats.
